Living at International House can be more affordable than private accommodation, especially when you consider the extended pastoral, social and academic support that is provided.

Room deposit - $2000.00 (refunded in September)
Caution fee - $1500.00 (refunded after departure provided the room is left tidy and free of damage)
Orientation week residence fee - $730.00 (17/2/18 - 23/2/18)
The Residential fee includes breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week; gas, water, electricity and internet quota for 38 weeks of the year. It also includes compulsory student club and insurance fees, and access to study, sport and recreation facilities. Please note that from 2018 students are no longer required to leave International House during the mid-year break.
The deposit, enrolment fee and maintenance levy will be refunded if a student is unsuccessful in gaining a place in a program at the University of Melbourne or an accepted nearby tertiary institution.

The room fee includes gas, water, electricity and internet quota, and International House Student Club fees for the period of residency. It also includes access to study, sport and recreational facilities, including the IH library, study centre, gym and multi-purpose court. Note: From 2018 a breakfast program is included as part of the overall postgraduate residential fee. Breakfast will be available in the main dining hall from 17th February 2018 to 17th November 2018.
